Curious. Motivated. Passionate
Marisa holds a Master of Arts in Psychological Science with a subplan in Cognition and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Studies. Prior to joining Radicle Science, she worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator for a university women’s mental health program, where she supported and managed clinical research initiatives.
Marisa came to Radicle Science seeking an environment where innovative research could move forward efficiently and collaboratively, and where scientific work could have meaningful real-world impact.
Her academic training provided a strong foundation in study design, research methodology, and data analysis, while her professional experience gave her insight into both participant-facing research and the regulatory side of scientific operations. Altogether, she brings five years of hands-on experience conducting scientific research.
Professionally, Marisa is passionate about understanding the underlying mechanisms of the human mind and advancing the study of human behavior, attitudes, and beliefs. She is particularly driven by opportunities to expand scientific knowledge in ways that create meaningful, real-world impact.
Outside of work, she enjoys tackling 1,000-piece (or larger) puzzles, tending to her plants, and snuggling with her dog. She also loves exploring new restaurants and trying new foods whenever she gets the chance.
